Chairman Mr. Jackson Nguriarengan

Mr. Jackson Nguriarengan is currently Chairman County Public Service Board of West Pokot and holds a Masters of Arts Degree, Bachelors and Higher Diploma in Human Resource Management. He has experience spanning for more than seventeen (17) years. He is currently pursuing Masters in Business Administration from University of Nairobi (Strategic Management).

He is a member of Institute of Human Resource Management Practitioners in Kenya. Mr. Nguriarengan was most recently before this appointment the Head of Human Resource and administration at Cotton Development Authority. He previously worked in the ministry of Health and Devolution department of Human Resource Management formerly Directorate of personnel management (DPM) of the President. He has worked with a World Bank and SIDA project (Decentralised Reproductive Health- DARE for a period of eight (8) years based at Ministry of Health Headquarters as Human Resource and Administration Officer. He has been involved in the Health and Sector Reforms since 2000. Recently he was one of the experts who were involved in the development of Human Resource for Health which was conducted by AMREF in the year 2012. The document is available in the AMREF library

Board Secretary/CEO Ms Caroline I. C. Chizupo

Recipient of King’s College London’s Peace & Security Fellowship for African Women, holds a master’s degree with a specialisation in governance from the Catholic University of Eastern Africa, a postgraduate diploma in gender and development from The University of Nairobi, and an undergraduate degree in philosophy and sociology, also from the Catholic University of Eastern Africa.

She is currently the Secretary/CEO of the West Pokot County Public Service Board and a council member of Kibabii University College.

Prior to this she worked as a consultant in gender, peace and security issues, as a Research Associate in Conflict Analysis for the Horn of Africa at the International Crisis Group, and with UN Women’s Gender & Governance Programme in Kenya. She has also completed an internship at the African Union in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, under the Peace & Security Department that focussed on Security Sector Reform

Board Member Mrs Hellen Koringura

Hellen is currently a member of the public service board and undertaking ther PhD. She holds Masters of Education degree in Administration and a Bachelors of Education degree both from the University of Nairobi.

She previously worked as a part time lecturer at the UoN ECD satellite centres within North Rift regions and also worked with the ministry of industrialization.

Board Member Mrs Isabella C Krop

She is currently a member of the public service board and currently doing her masters in Business Administration at Mount Kenya University (MKU). Holds a B.ed (Special) from Kenyatta University, Diploma in Education from Kisii University

Former principle Propoi girls and west pokot satellite ECD College. Has taught at St. Francis School for the blind and various secondary schools in west pokot.

Board Member Mr Paul Ksang Rumosia

Holds Bsc public Health JKUAT, currently MPH student Maseno University, Advanced Diploma in Dermatovenereology , University of Dar-es-alaam, Diploma in clinical medicine and surgery, Adolescent health and HIV/AIDS prevention, MASHAV – Israel.

He has 18 years working experience in the public service, has held managerial positions in the ministry of health, that is Officer in-charge Sigor Sub-District , District AIDS and STI co-ordinator (DASCO) West Pokot , County AIDS and sexually transmitted diseases Co-ordinator (CASCO) West Pokot county prior to County public service Board.

He is also member of Kenya clinical officer’s association (KCOA), Red-cross West Pokot Branch and Association of Dermatovenereologist officers of Africa (ADVOA).

Board Member Miss Caroline Cherotich Miliariket

Holds a master of Arts Degree from the University of Kyambogo, Uganda, and Bachelor’s Degree from Kenyatta University and Diploma in special Education from the Kenya lnstitute of special Education (KISE).

She is vice Chair County Public Service Board West Pokot County, Chairperson of Disability Awareness and lnformation Network (DAIN) West Pokot County and a member of National Council of Persons with Disability (NCPWDS).

Prior to Joining County Public Service Board, she was a teacher Chewoyet High School, Kapenguria Boys High School and St. Francis School for the blind. She has been involved in the County, regional and Continental initiatives as a national representative.

Attained Corporate Governance Training Course for Directors at Center for Corporate Governance, Senior Management Course at Kenya School of Government and also a Board Member, Board of Directors, Justice and Peace Center.
